In agreement with the city council of Schwarzenborn, Veyx-Pharma distributed three Cloth Face Coverings to each of the city’s households. In this way, each household is able to follow the obligation made by the German Federal Government to wear a Cloth Face Covering when out in public places.
“The idea was inspired by our Hungarian business partner”, says Managing Director Dr. Silke Engl. “As a former player of the Hungarian water polo League, he is also a manufacturer of swimwear and has changed production to Cloth Face Coverings in the current crisis.” The non-medical masks are washable and therefore reusable.
The mayor of Schwarzenborn, Juergen Liebermann, was very glad about the donation. “We very much appreciate that Veyx-Pharma is able and willing to support our town also in these difficult times. I am particularly happy that the new management generation continues the company’s commitment to its home city.” Dr. Silke Engl, the daughter of the company’s founder Armin Heß, has been managing director since January 2020.
In addition to the private households, the fire brigade and the retirement home in Schwarzenborn were provided with non-medical Cloth Face Coverings.
